Ocean Conservation

Our Commitment to the Ocean

We believe that exploring the ocean comes with a responsibility to protect it. Catalina Island is home to incredible kelp forest ecosystems and we’re committed to helping keep them healthy for generations to come.

Conservation is at the heart of everything we do. We design our snorkeling, diving, and educational experiences to minimize our impact while helping people develop a deeper connection to the ocean. We also actively participate in marine conservation through citizen science, marine debris cleanups, and community education.

We believe that everyone can play a role in protecting the ocean and we hope to inspire visitors and our local community to become better ocean stewards and to leave the places we love better than we found them.

Bleu World

Bleu World is a 501(c)(3) with a mission to grow a community of ocean changemakers with a passion for conservation, exploration, and science. With programs ranging from beach cleanups to coastal and underwater citizen science to marine research and internships, this organization aims to increase access and opportunities for everyone in the ocean.
